Comics on Comics, a bi-weekly web series mixing stand-up comedy and comic books, is set to launch its live premiere episode at 8 p.m. PST on March 5, 2008 at the ACME Comedy Theater in Hollywood, CA.
The show, which features the greatest comic minds facing off with the greatest minds in comics, is hosted by the hilarious Robbie Peron (The Best Damned Sports Show) and will be shot in front of a live studio audience.
Episode zero will feature writer Joshua Dysart (Swamp Thing,B.P.R.D. 1946) as well as comedians Boris Hamilton (The Man Show, Late Night with Conan O’Brien), Adam Richmond (Second City, The Adam Richmond Show) and Kathryn Lyn (ManiaTV’s Arcade) in a round-table discussion of the graphic medium. Think of it as Real Time With Bill Maher … for the geek set.
